“ Update: was able to try their Sunday special, Fried chicken platter. It was really good! So glad a friend recommended this place. Ordering was quick and the food was tasty. Staff was incredibly friendly. Highly recommend the brisket cheese fries. Everything was super yum. Ordered so much that we had to doggy bag half of it. It was the perfect weather to dine outside. Plenty of seating and parking was easy. ”

The ranch abs blue cheese dressing delicious and homemade. My daughter had the loaded fries with her brisket on the side. My husband had the wings and fried shrimp. “ Yum! Sure enjoyed our meal of delicious BBQ and seafood. Friendly service, relaxed atmosphere, good food. Located next to the St John ferry and beautiful view of the river. We were camping at Huguenot Memorial campground and glad we came for a nice sit down meal. Management ensured our meal was enjoyable. Easy access and plenty of parking. Shrimp were nice size and excellent flavor. BBQ - brisket was the winner. Sides were tasty. We had take out containers going with us. Fries were thick crinkle cuts. Outside dining and inside area. TVs with sports were available. Family friendly. Casual attire. Beer and cocktails available. Definitely coming back! Thanks for a nice dinner. ”
“ Leslie and I stopped in for lunch on the way to Jax on Sunday. We thought the food was terrific. The layout is organized and the team members were kind and helpful. The food was very good. We sat out on the patio where there is a view of the St John’s River. They also have several outdoor games for adults and children. I know we will be back again on a Sunday as this is Fried Chicken day. We saw an order at the table next to ours. It looked delicious. ”
“ I really loved the smoked turkey sandwich the best! I really loved the sweet tea. The squash was OK. The fries were really good. The southern hoe cakes are like tiny pancakes they were odd to eat with barbaque. Cool place I would come here again. ”

“ Went to Billy Jacks for the first time tonight after hearing great reviews. Love the concept of this place. Order at the counter and sit down. They were pretty busy tonight. Ordered gator tail, drinks, two meat platters and even got some onion rings cause we were lucky. As we were waiting for our food to come the manager continued to check in with us and give us updates. We were in no rush but always great to see management that is involved and communicating with customers. Overall food we had a great experience and enjoyed ourselves. Will definitely be back to try more!!! Thanks Billy Jacks and staff! ”
“ What a delicious BBQ restaurant! I believe it was the owner that personally stopped by each table to see if they enjoyed their meal, thanked everyone and invited them back. He was cleaning tables and helping wherever he could. He was so friendly as well as all the staff. We were very impressed and will be returning! There was only unsweetened tea, but hoping they will have sweet tea next time ”
